Emley Clarence Cricket Club has been playing in the Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League since 2004. In 2006 the 1XI won the Frank Platt Conference and gained promotion to the Premiership. A successful season followed but unfortunately the 1XI were relegated in 2008. In 2009 the 2XI were Cedar Court Conference Champions and play in the Drakes Premiership Two. In 2010 the 1XI won promotion from the Cedar Court Conference and will compete in the Frank Platt Championship in 2011.
